What brought you to start Ur Mom Records?
I’ve been working professionally in the music business for close to a decade at a variety of levels and with so many amazing people that have taught me about this business and myself. In that time I found the best work always got done when everyone in the room gives a shit about the rest of the people in the room, the people not in the room, and the task at hand. I think everyone can care like that when given the space to do so and to be cared for. I am trying to cultivate a space centered on community care and valuing artists and their work.
